Well, not in all departments – obviously. I’m talking about shoes. One of the setbacks to being tall is that heels can be problematic. Up here in the Canopy layer of the forest, the view is swell but we tower over all you little people like a busted up Amazonian, or worse, a butch Khloe K mongoloid teetering around on stilts. Heels and Wedges are also a hurdle if you have a thing for short guys. Not that I would know anything about that…
What I do know is that its a helluva lot easier to last until the wee hours of the morning on going out nights if your footwear doesn’t make you want to keel over in agony and club baby seals. Stomping, dancing, walk of shames: all things that will make you sigh in releif over not being stuck in lucite hooker pumps. However not everyone should wear flats, especially if you plan on pairing round-toe ballet flats with wide leg jeans – bleh. Keep it simple, a la Alexa Chung:
