I’ve never been a great sleeper. I have an overactive imagination and typical Jewish-girl anxiety that tends to kick in after 9pm. Exercise, Excedrin PM, reading, warm milk – nothing helps. However, I’ve recently stumbled upon a great remedy to tucker myself out and ease the transition to REM time: late-night baking.
Just picture; it’s quiet, you’re on your feet, warm, fragrant wafts of melting butter rolling out of the oven. Beddy-by please!
As such, here are some bedtime creations, enjoyed by the gallery crew who reap the benefits of my low-grade insomnia.

LITTLE PIE COMPANY OLD-FASHIONED APPLE PIE
I’ve mentioned this recipe a few times, with good reason. It is simply the best. The whole cookbook is the best, really, and a longtime Feinberg kitchen staple. Make like a Feinberg and buy this book.
